Job description:
As a Mortgage Loan Officer Trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced loan officers to assist clients throughout the home financing journey while developing valuable industry knowledge and skills. In this role, you will communicate directly with borrowers and help facilitate a seamless and efficient loan process. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who are organized, client-focused, and passionate about building a successful career in mortgage lending while helping families achieve their homeownership goals.
Responsibilities
- Support loan officers in preparing, reviewing, and processing mortgage loan applications
- Communicate with clients to gather and organize necessary documents, including income verification, tax returns, bank statements, and credit-related information
- Conduct outbound calls to generate leads and build relationships with prospective clients
- Assist the sales team by following up with new inquiries and maintaining communication with current clients
- Respond to client questions and provide updates throughout each stage of the mortgage process
- Help manage administrative duties and day-to-day operations to ensure loans are processed accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of customer service while creating a positive and professional client experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred but not required
- Experience in mortgage, sales, customer service, or admin roles is a plus
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling live transfers
- Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Motivated to grow within the mortgage industry
- Basic computer and CRM skills preferred

Pay: $350,000.00 - $750,000.00 per year
