Agave Beauty Spa is looking for a talented, reliable, and professional Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to join our growing beauty salon in Yonkers, NY.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hair, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable working with different hair types and textures.
Responsibilities
● Perform professional blowouts, shampooing, styling, and hair treatments
● Perform haircuts and basic styling
● Provide hair coloring services, including root color and gray coverage
● Perform highlights, balayage, and toning services
● Perform keratin and smoothing treatments
● Conduct professional client consultations before services
● Recommend appropriate services and hair-care products
● Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming salon experience
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation
● Follow salon sanitation, safety, and service standards
● Assist with salon clients, appointments, and walk-ins as needed
● Work professionally as part of the Agave Beauty Spa team
Requirements:
● Valid New York State Cosmetology License required
● Experience working in a professional salon environment preferred
● Strong blow-dry and styling skills
● Experience with hair color, highlights, balayage, and toners
● Knowledge of different hair types and textures
● Professional, reliable, punctual, and responsible
● Strong communication and customer-service skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Must maintain a clean and professional work area
● Weekend availability, especially Fridays and Saturdays, is preferred

Experience: Hair Styling / Cosmetology: 1 year preferred
License: New York State Cosmetology License (Required)
