Schedule is full time Mon-Thu 8am-5pm & Fri 8am-12pm, no nights/weekends, however additional hours may be offered as circumstances dictate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clinical duties including, but not limited to, obtaining and entering vital signs, charting, orders, and some specimen collection (oral fluids and urine only)
- Administer specialized computer testing to exacting standards (training provided)
- Process voicemail messages, emails, and system messaging correctly and in a timely manner and with prompt follow-up and documentation of action
- Perform typing, data entry, electronic filing, and other documentation duties accurately and efficiently
- Keep the examination areas orderly and clean so they are always ready for the next guest
- Receive training and attain proficiency in a complex, multi-resource scheduling system to meet the physician's required standards
- Learn the requisite office technology, such as scanners, fax machines, copiers, and printers, and remain up to date on their operation as technology changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to help with the efficient functioning of the office

Required:
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively convey detailed instructions to patients/parents
- Aptitude for following precise procedures and working in a self-directed manner
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other office applications
Preferred:
- Familiarity with medical terminology and/or software
- Previous clinical experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Prior experience with office technology
