PK Industrial Supply is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in the valve, pipe, and fittings industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building customer relationships while ensuring accuracy in quotes and orders. You’ll play a key role in supporting our customers and the outside sales team with technical and commercial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the internal point of contact for customers, managing inquiries related to valves, pipe, fittings, and other industrial products
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and technical submittals
- Enter and manage customer orders, ensuring proper pricing, availability, terms, and lead times
- Work closely with vendors to source materials, confirm delivery timelines, and negotiate terms when needed
- Support outside sales representatives by generating quotes, tracking leads, and providing background research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through consistent communication and service
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate CRM records, order status updates, and communication logs
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies, returns, or quality concerns professionally and promptly
- Participate in product and sales training to improve technical knowledge
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven experience managing quotes, purchase orders, and customer interactions
