MJC Movers LLC is hiring dependable Box Truck Drivers / Movers to join our team in Stone Mountain, GA.
This position is a hands-on driving and moving role. Drivers operate a 26ft box truck and also assist the crew with loading, unloading, wrapping, and protecting customer belongings during residential and commercial moves.
Pay:
Local work: $17–$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Weekly pay
Direct deposit available
Long-distance and out-of-state work may be available and is discussed before assignment
Customer tips may be received but are not guaranteed
Job Responsibilities:
Drive a 26ft moving truck safely to and from customer locations
Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, appliances, and household items
Wrap, pad, and protect customer belongings before loading
Work with the moving crew on local and long-distance jobs
Provide professional customer service during each move
Follow company procedures for safety, equipment, and customer care
Keep trucks and equipment organized and clean
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license required
Experience driving larger vehicles, box trucks, delivery trucks, or commercial vehicles preferred
DOT Medical Card preferred, or ability to obtain one
Ability to safely lift and move heavy items as part of a team
Reliable attendance and good communication skills
Professional attitude with customers and coworkers
Moving, furniture delivery, appliance delivery, warehouse, logistics, or delivery driver experience is a plus
