We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including ordering when necessary.
- Provide recommendations on drink pairings and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Buss tables in the bar area as needed to maintain a tidy environment for guests.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining standards and practices within the food industry.
- Excellent food handling skills with an understanding of sanitation protocols.
- Ability to engage with customers effectively, showcasing strong sales skills.
- Experience in food preparation is beneficial for assisting kitchen staff when required.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality beverage presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
