Position Summary
The Turndown Attendant is responsible for providing evening housekeeping services that enhance the guest experience and uphold the luxury standards of theWit Chicago. This position works the 1:00pm to 9:30pm evening shift and ensures guest rooms are refreshed and prepared for the evening by completing turndown service, replenishing amenities, maintaining cleanliness, and responding promptly to guest requests. The Turndown Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable stay for every guest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform evening turndown service in occupied guest rooms according to hotel standards.

Make beds and prepare guestrooms for the evening by adjusting linens, closing drapes, dimming lights, and completing all required turndown touches.

Refresh bathrooms by replacing used towels, replenishing toiletries, and ensuring cleanliness.

Remove trash and used service items from guestrooms.

Restock coffee, tea, water, and other guest amenities as needed.

Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards, reporting issues promptly.

Respond to guest requests courteously and in a timely manner.

Maintain assigned supply carts and ensure all equipment is clean and organized.

Follow all Hilton brand standards and hotel policies related to cleanliness, safety, and guest privacy.

Protect guest confidentiality and ensure guestroom security at all times.

Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion while working in occupied guestrooms.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.

Frequently push and pull housekeeping carts weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.

Work Environment
This position works primarily in guestroom corridors and occupied guestrooms and requires frequent interaction with guests and hotel team members. The Turndown Attendant is expected to maintain a professional appearance, deliver exceptional hospitality, and contribute to a positive guest experience consistent with the luxury service standards of theWit Chicago and Hilton.
