**Second Shift: 3PM to 11PM**
PURPOSE:
The Production Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production. Responsible for ensuring worker safety, coordinating tasks and achieving production goals.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure that all workers on the line are well-informed about the usage of emergency stop buttons.
2. Operates production equipment and machines in accordance with specifications.
3. Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
4. Measures finished parts ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
5. Maintains logs and records number of units produced including errors resulting in rejected pieces.
6. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
7. Collaborate with the Supervisor to determine the positioning and allocation of individuals.
8. Verify correct products are being produced including correct lot numbers and control numbers according to the assigned schedule.
9. Collaborate with other Operators, including shift hand offs, to ensure the team is working in sync.
10. Interface with maintenance mechanics as needed to resolve equipment issues 11. Work closely with the QA Inspectors to understand and correct quality issues.
11. Identify and address issues contributing to below standard outputs by taking an active role in improving process efficiencies.
12. Record and document any ongoing problems or difficulties, providing explanations and details.
13. Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
14. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the work area.
15. Ensure that safety standards are followed and report on any potentially unsafe conditions.
16. Maintains a high level of GMP & safety awareness adhering to all established safety policies and procedures.
17. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area, documenting machine sanitation & cleaning.
18. Performs other related duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
· Demonstrates good attendance and punctuality by consistently being at work and on time.
· Ability to follow directions.
· Ability to assess products for quality compliance.
· Meets productivity standards, completes work in a timely manner.
· Observes safety procedures and reports on potentially unsafe conditions.

Pay: From $15.75 per hour
