Seaside Closets is seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Production & Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day production operations of our custom closet manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC router and edge bander, producing high-quality custom closet components, managing material inventory, receiving shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cabinet manufacturing and must be proficient in Cabinet Vision software. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring production quality, maximizing efficiency, and maintaining accurate inventory levels while supporting a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
As the CNC Operator / Production & Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate and maintain CNC machinery for the production of custom closet components.
- Operate and maintain automatic edge banding equipment.
- Utilize Cabinet Vision software to review, modify, optimize, and process production files for CNC manufacturing.
- Review production schedules and prioritize manufacturing to meet installation deadlines.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, tooling changes, and routine preventative maintenance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and hardware.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of sheet goods, edge banding, hardware, and production supplies.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with purchasing recommendations.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Stage completed orders for delivery and installation crews.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production facility.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Work closely with management, designers, and installers to ensure accurate production and timely completion of projects.
- Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC equipment in a cabinet or woodworking manufacturing environment.
- Required experience with Cabinet Vision software.
- Experience operating automatic edge banders.
- Experience reading and interpreting production drawings and shop plans.
- Forklift experience (or ability to become certified).
- Ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery and production issues.
- Strong understanding of cabinet manufacturing processes and woodworking equipment.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Experience with nested-based manufacturing.
- Experience with CNC tooling optimization and machine maintenance.
- Experience managing warehouse inventory and purchasing materials.
- Knowledge of custom closet manufacturing.
