Kennel Technician – AM & PM (Covey Kennels)
Covey Kennels is a dog training, boarding, and grooming facility looking for dependable and hardworking kennel technicians to join our team.
This is a hands-on role working directly with dogs in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, take pride in their work, and can stay on task without constant supervision.
Shifts Available:
AM and PM shifts available. Summer hours are 2:30-8pm or 6am-1pm.
Weekend availability required 1 weekend a month.
Responsibilities:
- Walk and handle dogs safely
- Clean kennels and maintain sanitation standards
- Ensure all dogs have clean water and proper care
- Monitor dogs for health or behavioral concerns
- General cleaning and facility upkeep
Requirements:
- Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Able to handle physical work (lifting 50lb bags of food or dogs)
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Able to follow directions and work efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
