Legal Assistant (Estate Planning & Probate)
Location: On-site (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule: Predictable weekday hours. No weekends, no overtime.
Looking for a legal career where your work actually matters—and burnout isn't part of the job description?
At Pierce Legal Group, we don’t just move paperwork. We help families protect their legacies and find peace of mind.
We’re looking for an organized, detail-obsessed Legal Assistant to join our close-knit team. If you are an early-career legal professional, an administrative rockstar, or a client-service natural, this is your launchpad. You’ll work directly with our managing attorney and paralegal—meaning you’ll get real mentorship, a voice in our processes, and room to grow.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- Zero Billable-Hour Pressure: We value consistency and quality of life over burnout.
- Modern Tech: We use streamlined, top-tier tools (Clio, DecisionVault, Gavel)—no clunky, outdated software.
- A Supportive Culture: We are an approachable, family-oriented team that genuinely cares about our people.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the Client Experience: Warmly greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and set a welcoming, professional tone.
- Master the Workflow: Keep active cases organized and moving from intake to signing. Track tasks and update client records in Clio.
- Draft & Assemble: Prepare preliminary drafts of estate documents (using our templates) and build high-quality physical and digital estate binders.
- Prep & Coordinate: Keep our calendar tight, schedule appointments, prep meeting rooms, and gather necessary documents ahead of signings.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s, Bachelor's, or Legal/Paralegal studies a plus).
- Experience in a professional office, law firm, or high-touch customer service role preferred.
- Estate planning or probate experience is helpful, but a great attitude and eagerness to learn matter more!
The Details:
Along with a collaborative, growth-minded environment, we offer:
- Paid Time Off (PTO) + paid holidays
- Health insurance options
