Complete Plumbing & Rooter is looking for a dependable and motivated Assistant Plumber to join our growing team. We perform both commercial and residential plumbing, giving the right candidate an opportunity to develop experience across a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with commercial and residential plumbing installations, repairs, and service work
- Help install water, waste, vent, and gas piping systems
- Assist with fixture installation, demolition, excavation, testing, and jobsite cleanup
- Load, unload, organize, and properly care for tools and materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow instructions, company procedures, and jobsite safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, contractors, and other trades
- Arrive on time and ready to work
Minimum Requirements
- At least one year of plumbing experience
- Must own the basic hand tools required for plumbing work
- Reliable transportation to jobsites or the designated meeting location
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime when projects require it
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials, climbing ladders, working in trenches, and working in confined areas
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Professional appearance and attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial tenant-improvement plumbing
- Familiarity with copper, cast iron, PVC, ABS, and black steel piping
- Experience using basic plumbing and power tools
- Knowledge of jobsite safety practices
- Interest in developing into a journeyman-level plumber
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Most work is performed during normal weekday hours; however, some commercial projects require night or weekend work. Applicants must be flexible and available for these shifts when scheduled. Overtime may be offered based on project needs.
