Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently.
- Repair or replace appliances, HVAC components, refrigeration systems, and mechanical parts with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Install new appliances and mechanical systems, including HVAC units and kitchen equipment, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transport as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership qualities to guide junior team members when necessary.
- Familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology along with experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or internal stakeholders during service calls.
