We are seeking a motivated Part Time Laundry Attendant to join our team! In this lively role, you’ll be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of our hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing. Your energetic approach will ensure that every item is handled with care and efficiency, contributing to an outstanding guest experience. Shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and some weekends and holidays are required. The shifts will vary based on the needs of the hotel.
<Responsibilities>
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens and towels efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols related to chemical use and equipment operation
- Assist with minor cleaning tasks in laundry areas and surrounding spaces as needed
- Ensure timely completion of laundry cycles to meet hotel standards and guest expectations
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly for quick resolution
<Experience>
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of laundry procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset
