Journeyman Electrician — Sparks by Rabbit LLC (Scottsdale, AZ)
$25–$30/hour · Full-time · Covering the Valley (San Tan to Surprise, based out of Scottsdale)
First, who we are
Sparks by Rabbit is a small, tight-knit shop — and I mean small on purpose. I'm the owner, and the people who work with me aren't badge numbers on a job site. They're family. That's not a line for a poster; it's how I actually run this thing. When you have a good day, I hear about it. When life throws you something, we work around it. You'll always know where you stand with me.
I'm looking for one more person to bring into that. Not a body to fill a truck — a real lead I can trust to run work the way I'd run it myself.
What this job actually is
This is a lead role, so I'll be straight about what that means. I'm not looking for someone I have to stand over. I'm looking for a Journeyman who can take a job, own it start to finish, and make the right call without texting me every twenty minutes.
If you're a seasoned hand who's tired of being micromanaged, this is the pitch: I'll give you the keys and get out of your way. In exchange, I need someone who's earned that trust and carries themselves like it.
Autonomy & Leadership — what I'm counting on you for:
- Run a job site on your own. Plan it, sequence it, and keep it moving without me babysitting it.
- Make technical calls in the field independently and stand behind them.
- Know the NEC — not just enough to pass, but enough to teach it and defend it.
- Talk to clients like a professional. You're the face of my company when I'm not there, and how you handle people matters as much as how you handle a panel.
- Communicate straight with me. Tell me what you need, flag problems early, and keep me in the loop — no surprises.
Must-haves
- You can run residential and/or commercial work without hand-holding.
- Strong, current working knowledge of the NEC.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and transportation
- The temperament of a lead: dependable, level-headed, and good with both clients and crew.
- Willing to cover the valley — we run from San Tan to Surprise, with most of our work centered around Scottsdale.
Why you'll love it here
- You're treated like family, not a number. Small shop, real relationships, a boss who has your back.
- Respect and autonomy. You'll be trusted to run your own jobs and make your own calls. No one breathing down your neck.
- Your voice counts. In a shop this size, what you say actually changes how we do things.
- Steady local work across the Valley — you're not driving to another state to make a living.
Pay
$25–$30/hour, depending on experience and what you bring to the table.
