The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring residents receive proper nutritional care to support their recovery, health, and overall well-being.

Conduct nutritional assessments for residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans
Monitor and evaluate residents’ dietary needs, weight trends, and nutritional status
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care
Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families when appropriate
Oversee and ensure compliance with dietary regulations, CMS guidelines, and facility policies
Participate in care plan meetings and clinical discussions
Review and approve therapeutic diets and menu plans in coordination with dietary staff
Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities preferred
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
