Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting the diverse needs of students. The Teacher will play a crucial role in promoting literacy, math skills, and overall childhood development while ensuring that each child feels valued and supported.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the educational standards and caters to the diverse learning styles of students.
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori and hands-on activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs or requiring early intervention.
- Foster literacy education through reading programs, phonics instruction, and writing activities.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and overall development.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages exploration.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational setting; preschool or daycare experience (required)
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
