Position Overview
HoneyRock Event Florals is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Production & Warehouse Lead to support the operational backbone of the company.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes of high-end events and understands that exceptional execution comes from organization, anticipation, preparation, and professionalism.
The Production & Warehouse Lead plays a key role in ensuring HoneyRock events are executed seamlessly from warehouse readiness and inventory organization to production preparation, installation support, and onsite logistics.
This role also serves as a key operational support position within the company by helping improve systems, support team coordination, maintain organizational standards, and contribute to scalable operational processes as HoneyRock continues to grow.
This is not simply a warehouse role. The ideal candidate understands that the event industry moves quickly, timelines shift, details matter, and preparation is everything.
This role requires someone who can balance physical warehouse responsibilities with professionalism, hospitality, calm communication, and operational awareness in fast-paced event environments.
Weekly hours will vary based on event schedules, production timelines, installation needs, and seasonal business volume, with increased hours likely during peak wedding and event seasons.
Core ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Organization
- Own the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the HoneyRock warehouse and production space
- Organize and maintain floral vessels, candles, arches, mechanics, rentals, hard goods, tools, and event inventory
- Develop and maintain organized systems for storage, labeling, event pulls, and inventory tracking
- Ensure all inventory is cleaned, repaired, organized, and event-ready following installations and strikes
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate restocking needs
- Support implementation and maintenance of operational systems and standard operating procedures
- Maintain prep areas, loading areas, and production spaces in an organized and efficient manner
- Assist with post-event breakdown organization, recycling, disposal, and warehouse resets
Event Production Support
- Assist with floral and event production preparation leading up to installations
- Pull, prep, stage, and organize inventory based on event recipes, production sheets, and design plans
- Support floral conditioning prep, candle preparation, vessel management, and installation readiness
- Ensure all event materials are organized accurately and efficiently before load-out
- Help protect production timelines and installation efficiency
- Anticipate logistical challenges and proactively problem solve before issues arise
- Assist with onsite installations, strikes, and production execution as needed
- Support the team in maintaining calm, organized, and efficient event-day operations
Logistics & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate vehicle packing and loading strategies for events
- Verify inventory accuracy before departure and upon return
- Assist with delivery routing, event logistics, and onsite production flow
- Help track rentals, returns, damaged inventory, and missing items
- Maintain awareness of upcoming event schedules and production needs
- Support operational efficiency as HoneyRock continues to grow and scale
Team Coordination & Operational Development
- Provide day-to-day coordination and operational support for the part-time Warehouse Coordinator to ensure organization standards, warehouse readiness, and operational consistency are maintained
- Partner closely with the Administrative Assistant to support production preparation, event readiness, communication flow, scheduling coordination, and day-to-day operational support
- Assist in creating, documenting, implementing, and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, consistency, organization, and scalability across warehouse and production operations
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, event preparation systems, inventory organization, and overall production efficiency
- Support the development of a proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented operational culture as HoneyRock continues to grow
Event & Hospitality Presence
- Represent HoneyRock professionally onsite with venues, planners, vendor partners, and clients
- Communicate calmly and professionally in fast-paced event environments
- Support an elevated guest and client experience through preparedness, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Help ensure installations reflect HoneyRock’s quality and aesthetic standards
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and solutions-focused work environment

Qualifications
- Previous experience in events, floral production, hospitality, warehouse operations, event logistics, catering, or production environments preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in deadline-driven environments
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving inventory
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and variable schedules based on event needs
- Basic comfort with spreadsheets, inventory systems, communication tools, and operational organization
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time role averaging approximately 15–25 hours per week
- Hours will vary based on event schedules and production volume
- Flexible availability required during busy event periods
- Some weekends, evenings, and early mornings will be required
- Peak wedding and event seasons may require additional hours
