Job Overview
We are hiring a Senior Service Technician to support maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair operations for an advanced robotic delivery fleet in Mesa, AZ. This role focuses on diagnosing system issues, performing repairs, supporting fleet readiness, and maintaining operational uptime in a fast-paced environment.
This position is ideal for technicians with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoy working on advanced robotic systems. Candidates with backgrounds in robotics, electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, fleet maintenance, aviation, or related technical fields are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults across robotic systems, modular components, and support vehicles
- Perform repairs on electrical systems, control units, and associated hardware
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues using diagnostic tools and procedures
- Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repair documentation
- Document diagnostic findings, repair activities, and corrective actions
- Support fleet readiness, reliability, and operational uptime
- Calibrate, configure, and maintain diagnostic equipment and testing tools
- Prioritize and manage assigned work orders independently
- Contribute technical findings to service documentation and knowledge bases
- Work closely with operations and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Support and assist other technicians as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of service technician, maintenance, repair, automotive, robotics, or related technical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately document repairs and technical findings
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to pass MVR requirements
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, robotics, aviation, or fleet operations
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and repair
- Familiarity with service management systems such as JIRA, MaintainX, or similar platforms
- Experience interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience working with electromechanical systems and advanced hardware
Schedule
- PM Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- AM shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day
