Position Summary
Caregivers provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients’ homes. You will work independently, follow care plans, and represent At Home Care professionally at all times.
This role is best suited for individuals who:
- Are dependable and punctual
- Can commit to scheduled shifts
- Are comfortable working independently
- Understand the responsibility of caring for seniors
Core Responsibilities
- Companionship and safety supervision
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Laundry and home organization
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Grocery shopping and essential errands
- Medication reminders (non-medical)
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Dementia and memory care support
- Client-related pet care
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Applicants must meet all of the following to be considered:
✔ Valid driver’s license
✔ Reliable vehicle with current insurance
✔ Clean driving record
✔ Ability to pass criminal, drug, and motor vehicle background checks
✔ Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
✔ Ability to lift, assist, and support clients safely
✔ Strong communication and time-management skills
✔ Professional appearance and behavior
We DO NOT hire individuals who:✘ Have disqualifying criminal history
✘ Have recent drug or alcohol abuse history
✘ Have communicable diseases such as tuberculosis
Does not have their own vehicle
Preferred (Strong Advantage):
- 1+ year of professional or family caregiving experience
- Experience with seniors or dementia care
- Availability for evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time hours (hours are not guaranteed)
- Pay based on experience and availability
- Shifts can very based upon client needs
