Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for following patient care instructions prepared by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professionals who are responsible for the supervision of the CNA. This includes assisting the patient in bathing, dressing, and transferring in a way that promotes the patient’s comfort, quality of life, and specific end of life requests. The CNA is responsible for observing patients, reporting, and documenting these observations and care performed. Qualifications
- Currently certified or working towards certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Idaho.
- One (1) years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in a hospice/home health or hospital experience is preferred.
- Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR.
- Ability to bend, lift, and twist 50+lbs with safe body mechanics.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
