Heavy Equipment Operator
The Heavy Equipment Operator is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as excavator, compactor, loader, skid-steer, and other construction equipment at job sites throughout Colorado.
The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, compactors, loaders, skid-steers, and other construction equipment. The Operator will also need a thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance and the ability to identify mechanical issues that could impact production. In addition to equipment operation, any candidate should understand that various manual labor tasks, including picking up a shovel, are a part of the job.
The preferred candidate must also be able to mentor and train junior operators on all equipment used while working at ETT, helping to build a culture of safety, efficiency, and professional development in the field.
Required Experience & Certifications:
- Experience working with large excavations and the installation of shoring systems associated with those excavations
- Experience with storage tank installation and removal
- CDL-A license required
Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of equipment safety and compliance with OSHA/MSHA requirements is critical. A demonstrated track record of safe field practices will be an important factor in candidate selection.
Position Details: This is a full-time, in-person field position based in Parker, CO, with travel to various job sites throughout the metro area. The position will typically report to a Project Supervisor, who will coordinate activities with the main office.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
- Trenching and excavation
- Backfilling
- Installing and working around utilities
- Remediation of contaminated sites

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
