Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to help keep our construction jobsites safe and compliant with OSHA requirements. This person will regularly visit active jobsites, identify safety hazards, work with field teams to correct issues, and help build a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Visit construction jobsites regularly to inspect safety conditions.
- Identify hazards and make sure unsafe conditions are corrected.
- Ensure employees and subcontractors follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses and complete reports.
- Help with job hazard analyses and safety plans.
- Monitor proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Work with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to improve jobsite safety.
- Maintain safety records and required documentation.
- Help prepare for OSHA inspections and respond to safety concerns.
Qualifications
- OSHA 500 certification is required.
- Experience in construction safety.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
- Experience conducting jobsite inspections and safety training.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to and work at multiple construction jobsites.
- Ability to work with employees, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
