Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the store while driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position involves collaborating with the Sales Manager to implement strategies that enhance store performance, manage staff effectively, and maintain a positive shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. We are looking for assistant managers for both our bridal shop and tuxedo shop.
Duties
- Sell wedding dresses, formal dresses, and accesories to our customers OR help with the suit and tuxedo rental sales and operations
- Lead marketing initiatives including social media, and photoshoots
- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Support employee orientation and training development programs to enhance staff capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies that meet or exceed company goals.
- Train, and manage staff performance to foster a high-performing team culture.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks related to store management.
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
- Ability to train and develop team members through effective coaching techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on employee orientation and team collaboration.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
