What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Technician/RVT, you'll play an essential role in patient care and client education while working closely with our veterinarians and support staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Placing IV catheters and administering medications and treatments
- Collecting blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples
- Performing venipuncture confidently and efficiently
- Placing endotracheal tubes and assisting with anesthetic induction and recovery
- Monitoring anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures
- Taking and processing diagnostic radiographs
- Performing in-house laboratory testing and diagnostics
- Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Educating clients on medications, preventative care, and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment notes
- Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
- Helping create a positive experience for both patients and clients
What We're Looking For
- Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license OR 2–3+ years of hands-on veterinary technician experience
- Strong technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, patient nursing care, and surgical assistance
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to teamwork and exceptional patient care
- Desire to continue learning and growing within the profession
