Dental Assistant
$23 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 8am–5pm, NO WEEKENDS

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide four-handed chairside assistance for general dental procedures
- Anticipate procedural needs and prepare materials for scheduled patients in advance
- Take and process digital radiographs and intraoral scans
- Complete sealant applications
- Sterilize instruments, set up and disinfect operatories between patients
- Chart existing and proposed treatment accurately
- Perform basic lab work including retainer fabrication and digital dentistry workflows
- Educate patients chairside on treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Support patient advocacy and treatment acceptance through clear, compassionate communication
- Maintain organized, clean clinical environment
Requirements:
- 2+ years dental assisting experience
- Dental radiology certification (Virginia)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, anatomy, and operatory setup protocols
- Chairside verbal proficiency with patient communication and education
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 45 lbs
- Available Monday, Thursday, and Friday
- Fluent in English
Preferred:
- 3–5+ years dental assisting experience
- Post-secondary certificate from an accredited dental assistant program
- Experience with CBCT, digital scanning, and moderate sedation
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Spanish or other language proficiency (a plus)
