Position Title: Healthcare Financial Analyst
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time
Reports To: CEO
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical Healthcare Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, operational analysis, and business intelligence initiatives within our organization.
This role is responsible for analyzing financial and operational data, identifying trends and variances, and helping leadership make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI and advanced Excel skills and be able to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.
This is not a traditional accounting role. We are looking for someone who can identify operational and financial patterns, investigate inconsistencies, and build reporting tools that improve visibility across departments.
Essential Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
- Analyze financial and operational trends across departments
- Perform variance analysis and identify drivers impacting revenue and expenses
- Investigate inconsistencies in financial performance and operational metrics
- Create executive-level reports and presentations
- Develop forecasting and analytical models using Excel and Power BI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare finance, analytics, or operational reporting experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Power BI dashboards from the ground up
- Experience with healthcare operational reporting and financial analysis
- Experience presenting financial insights to leadership teams
