Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair issues with manufacturing equipment or products during the production process.

Perform regular maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.

Inspect revenue service vehicles when operational issues occur, perform appropriate corrective actions, and report findings and corrective actions to the Manager.

Perform FMI (Field Modification Instruction) work as assigned, complete all required modification activities, and report the work results and completion status to the Manager.

Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workplace adheres to health and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.

Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.

Manage and transport raw materials or finished products within the facility.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency.
Education / Experience Requirements:
-
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, or a similar technical role.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or Industrial Maintenance.
Specialized Skill Requirements:

Expertise in operating, maintaining, and repairing machinery used in the production of railroad components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for precise manufacturing.

Experience with tools and techniques for inspecting and testing materials or finished products to meet quality standards.

Ability to identify and resolve issues in manufacturing equipment or processes efficiently
