Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Toast POS with precision and accountability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and comply with alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and glassware promptly to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service support during events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, or banquet environments; retail math and restaurant experience are highly valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient sales processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly while maintaining quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests positively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations.
