Quality Control & Finishing Associate - Sewing Department
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Job Summary
Creative Cause Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Quality Control & Finishing Associate to join our Sewing/Finishing Department. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, careful inspection, and producing high-quality finished work. The associate will inspect completed sewn pieces, verify images and order details, confirm dimensions, and ensure each finished piece meets quality standards before shipment. This position is also responsible for the fitting wall process, where finished sewn pieces are checked in the proper sized frame to confirm fit prior to shipping.
Key Responsibilities
· Inspect finished sewn products for quality, accuracy, and overall workmanship
· Check images, dimensions, sewn details, and production specifications against order requirements
· Use the fitting wall to verify that finished sewn pieces fit the proper sized frame before shipping. Fitting wall may require climbing and working from a safety ladder with platform as needed.
· Fold, organize, and prepare finished pieces for shipment
· Track and report daily shipments for targeted customers
· Communicate quality concerns or production issues to department leadership
Qualifications
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Reliable, responsible work ethic
· Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and support other department functions as needed
· Ability to read a tape measure and work accurately with precise measurements
· Comfortable reviewing images, dimensions, sewn details, and order specifications
· Ability to work independently and stay focused on daily production goals
· Ability to safely climb and work from a safety ladder with platform and work from heights as required
