My business partner and I own a number of rental properties in Des Moines. We’re looking for a reliable, self-motivated local to help manage them on a part-time basis.
This is a Flexible opportunity—ideal for someone who is:
- Organized
- Tech-savvy
- Personable
- Comfortable working independently
- Set your own schedule, typically 10–20 hours per week
Your Responsibilities
- Own all resident communications in AppFolio property manager
- Show apartments and homes to prospective tenants
- Meet vendors and residents on-site to coordinate repairs
- Perform move-in and move-out inspections
- Ensure units are rent-ready and lease terms are followed
- Provide general property oversight and conduct periodic walk-throughs
Qualifications
- No real estate background required (but helpful)
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness are important
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
