Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and promotes literacy skills. The English Teacher will develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed academically.
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Teach various aspects of the English language, including reading, writing, literature, and grammar.
- Incorporate creative writing exercises and copy editing practices into the curriculum to enhance students' writing skills.
- Utilize research-based instructional strategies to support students with special educational needs.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations; provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues in education administration to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Provide library services support by guiding students in research techniques and resource utilization.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field is required; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with lesson planning, classroom management, and educational technology is essential.
- Strong background in creative writing, journalism, or copy editing is a plus.
- Experience working with students with special education needs is an advantage.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
