Come grow with us! As we continue to blossom, we will be adding faculty and staff to our early childhood program. We are seeking a part-time Assistant teacher to join our program. A.A. in education or in-progress required. Montessori experience or AMI Assistant Certificate preferred. Experience working as an assistant preferred.
This is a part-time role and candidate should have morning availability from 8:30-11:30 am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays during term time September-June.
While Montessori training is not required, it is preferred. A willingness to learn more about the method will be required and this may include formal professional development alongside personal growth.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a demonstrated affinity to the mission of Mayfair Gardens Montessori as well as experience in alternative pedagogies such as Montessori, Waldorf, progressive education, etc.
