Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on dump truck experience, is comfortable loading their own truck with a track loader or articulating wheel loader, and is willing to move equipment using a single-axle dump truck with tag-along trailer as needed.
You will play a key role in safely transporting materials to and from construction sites while keeping projects running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations
- Load your own truck using a track loader or articulating wheel loader
- Move equipment using a single-axle dump truck with tag-along trailer when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition
- Follow all DOT, company, and job site safety regulations and procedures
- Communicate and coordinate with site managers and crew members to complete deliveries and pickups efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of loads, including materials, quantities, and delivery locations
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, including operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and backhoes when qualified
- Perform basic routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver in construction or a similar environment
- Comfortable loading your own truck with a track loader or articulating wheel loader
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation (such as bulldozer, grader, horizontal drilling, and backhoe) is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Ability to safely navigate active construction sites and variable terrain
- DOT requirements met and maintained
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); tanker endorsements are a plus
Schedule, Pay, and Benefits
- Full-time position with steady, year-round work environment (weather and workload permitting)
- Overtime opportunities may be available but are not guaranteed
- Company benefits available after 6 months of employment

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
