Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces if applicable
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
- Conduct floor cleaning and floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, and surface dusting to maintain a polished look
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients
- Handle manual lifting of furniture or heavy items safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces by dusting and disinfecting high-touch areas to promote sanitation standards
- Use cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols for proper handling and maintenance
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with outdoor work experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, carpet cleaning techniques, and floor care methods
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and hygiene standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required in deep cleaning projects
