We are seeking a driven, competitive Field Sales Representative to manage and grow an assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships, is motivated by winning new business, and wants their performance to directly impact their earnings.
The successful candidate will be comfortable spending the majority of their week visiting customers and active job sites, identifying opportunities, closing business, and developing long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow an assigned book of business throughout your Florida/Georgia territory targeting Tampa, West Palm, Fort Myers, Melbourne, Orlando, Daytona, and Miami.
- Proactively prospect for and close new accounts while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.

- Represent STS professionally in blue-collar, industrial, construction, and DOT job-site environments.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within existing accounts.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospects and customers.
Communication & Judgment
The traffic control industry moves quickly. Customer requests often come with short timelines, and customers expect a sales representative who understands that urgency and responds accordingly.
- Respond to time-sensitive customer requests with urgency; same-day turnarounds are often the expectation.
- Remain calm and professional when issues arise with a job, order, or customer request.
- De-escalate challenging customer situations and work toward positive solutions.
- After completing initial training, independently interpret customer emails and calls and translate them into complete, accurate requests for the Operations team.
- Capture all critical details, including location, timing, scope, access requirements, and other information necessary for successful execution.
- Use sound judgment and critical thinking to address situations that may not have a straightforward or predefined solution.
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a road-based field sales role.
- 4 days per week: In the field visiting customers and active job sites.
- 1 day per week: In the office, typically Fridays, for administrative work, planning, and team coordination.
- Comfortable working in blue-collar, industrial, construction, and DOT environments is essential.
- Work boots and appropriate PPE are standard daily attire.
- Regular visits to active construction and DOT job sites are a core responsibility of the position.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000
- Year 1 OTE: $150,000
- Performance-based commission structure with the majority of earning potential tied to results.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a competitor — someone who is accustomed to setting goals, putting in the work, and competing to win. The ideal candidate brings that same mentality to a career in sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to regularly travel throughout the assigned Florida/Georgia territory.
- Comfortable conducting frequent on-site visits at active construction and DOT job sites.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a structured weekly schedule.
- Ability to work effectively in a blue-collar, industrial, and construction environment.
- Ability to wear required PPE and appropriate work-site attire.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer relationships and opportunities simultaneously.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, success means taking ownership of your assigned territory, growing the existing book of business, consistently closing new accounts, and becoming a trusted presence on job sites.
You'll be expected to build relationships that result in repeat business, identify opportunities before competitors do, and establish a reputation for being responsive, reliable, and easy to do business with.
If you're competitive, resilient, motivated by results, and ready to build a sales career where your performance directly impacts your earning potential, we'd like to hear from you.
