Position Summary
The Student Admissions professional will lay the groundwork for a high-performing and compliant admissions operation at Miles University. This individual will be responsible for developing admissions policies and procedures, marketing materials, and the initial recruitment strategy. This role is ideal for a person who enjoys the strategic work of building an enrollment operation for an innovative, AI-native university.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Development & Planning
- Develop the university's initial enrollment management plan, including the strategy for lead generation, recruitment, and conversion.
- Collaborate with leadership to set aggressive enrollment targets .
- Establish and document admissions policies, procedures, and student recruitment strategies that will guide future enrollment growth .
2. Pre-Enrollment Readiness
- Create the initial admissions marketing materials, including the student application and all required consumer disclosures.
- Develop training materials for future admissions counselors and ensure the admissions team is prepared to meet CIE compliance requirements for admissions personnel .
- Assist in the selection and implementation of a CRM system to track and manage prospective student data .
3. Compliance & Institutional Effectiveness
- Ensure all admissions and recruitment activities are compliant with Florida CIE regulations and fair consumer practices .
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for the CIE application related to admissions and enrollment.
- Analyze enrollment trends and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making .
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in higher education student recruitment, enrollment management, or admissions .
- Proven track record of developing recruitment strategies and achieving enrollment targets.
- FAPSC Certification is required (must have or be willing to obtain certification)
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce) and marketing automation .
- Knowledge of the higher education enrollment landscape, particularly for online programs.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to build a new operation from the ground up.
Pay: $22.85 - $27.52 per hour
