Join our Labormax Family as a Production Worker during our exciting Mass Hiring Event! We have had continuous requests recently for positions and we are looking to hire people to be able to continue to fill these roles. They are mostly 1st Shift Positions located in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham area.
<Duties>
- Assist with assembly line operations by assembling components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring each product meets quality standards.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods within the facility.
- Support the setup and breakdown of production stations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Conduct mechanical inspections of equipment and products to identify defects or issues early in the process.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to factory safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, production counts, and quality checks.
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and organizing warehouse storage areas.
<Skills>
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with assembly lines and factory environments.
- Mechanical knowledge helps in understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a strong plus.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment is desirable.
- Warehouse experience supports efficient material handling and inventory organization.
- Strong attention to detail ensures products meet quality standards without defects.
- Good communication skills facilitate teamwork and adherence to safety procedures.
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout long shifts in a manufacturing setting.
