Oasis Animal Hospital is a busy and compassionate growing veterinary hospital dedicated to providing top-quality care to pets and their families. Recently, we've opened a brand new facility with a separate area designed to cater a pet groomer's needs and desires. Currently, we're looking for a skilled and caring Pet Groomer to join our team and help our patients look and feel their best!
About the Role:
As our in-house Groomer, you'll work closely with our medical team to provide grooming services in a clean, safe, and animal-focused environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with pets and pet parents and appreciates being part of a veterinary care team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, etc.
- Maintain a safe and calm grooming environment
- Communicate professionally with clients about their pet’s grooming needs
- Identify any health concerns during grooming and report them to our medical team
- Maintain grooming tools and a clean, organized workspace
- Manage scheduling, grooming records, and client preferences
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure adequate communication and overall flow
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of prior grooming experience (professional training or certification required)
- Ability to handle dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Patience, compassion, and excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a veterinary setting and collaborating with vet staff
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal safety
