Duties
- Safely operate various passenger vehicles such as limousines, shuttle buses, and personal cars on local routes and scheduled pickups.
- Follow GPS navigation systems precisely to ensure timely arrivals and efficient routes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing courteous and professional customer service at all times.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during all driving activities.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules, routes, and any delays or changes in service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, or chauffeur with a strong understanding of passenger vehicle operation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; specific experience with limousine or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes.
- Experience in medical transportation or paratransit services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and adherence to traffic laws is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely when required.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
