JOB SUMMARY: The Custodian Worker II will provide cleaning of all casino areas to provide a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Required skills and knowledge:

High school diploma or GED.
-
One year of professional cleaning experience in a casino, hotel, warehouse, or similar environment.

Ability to train on and operate specialized equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper.

Ability to obtain certification in Aerial Work Platform Operation and Safety.
-
Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
-
Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
-
Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
-
Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred skills:
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
-
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to safely perform job duties at heights of up to 30 feet.

Ability to stand and/or move around continuously during the assigned shift.

Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
-
Knowledge of Hospitality Industry Guest Service Standards.

General cleaning of bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, emptying garbage, cleaning working areas, mopping, and shampooing, polishing, cleaning ashtrays, and cleaning glass.

Deep cleaning of areas needing additional attention including floor treatments, high dusting, window cleaning, and pressure washing.

Accessing sensitive or Class III areas to complete cleaning duties.

Operate equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper safely and effectively.

Report to Custodial Shift Lead regarding any issues or problems that arise on assigned shift.
-
Provide training to new Custodial Workers, fostering a positive culture and work environment.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
