The beautiful Towneplace Suites Houston Hobby Airport is looking for an allstar Housekeeping Manager to join our team. you will lead the cleanliness and sanitation efforts that create welcoming, pristine environments for our guests. This vital role combines team leadership, operational oversight, and a passion for maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hotel departments to ensure consistent cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a motivated team focused on delivering exceptional service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety protocols aligned with industry best practices and sanitation regulations.
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment to optimize resources.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and back-of-house spaces to uphold quality standards.
- Enforce safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, chemical handling, and janitorial practices to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any cleanliness or sanitation issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate clearly with staff at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, industrial cleaning equipment, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee commercial cleaning operations including laundry services and janitorial tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills to develop schedules, manage inventories, and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Prior experience in team supervision or management roles within hospitality settings is highly preferred.
