About the role: Ridgefield Playhouse is looking for friendly, reliable bartenders to join our team. You’ll be serving guests before shows, during intermission, and at special events. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can keep up when things get hectic, and wants to be part of a fun live entertainment environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks to guests.
- Provide friendly, professional service before shows, during intermission, and at events.
- Take orders and process cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Set up, stock, clean, and close the bar.
- Follow all alcohol-service and safety requirements.
- Work with the Playhouse team to keep service running smoothly.
- Help create a welcoming experience for our guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Reliable, friendly, and able to work well under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and event dates.
