Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using Square POS system.
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards.
- Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and addressing guest needs promptly.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations during handling, serving, and cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like banquets or large parties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tables, and lift moderate loads when necessary.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, or kitchen experience is advantageous.
- Hospitality background including hotel or banquet experience is desirable but not mandatory.
