Job Description:
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Integrative Psychology Services, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Your role will involve utilizing a safe and caring approach, combined with scientifically valid treatment interventions, to teach coping skills and reduce depression and stress-related symptoms in elderly individuals undergoing medical issues and social environment changes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with facility staff as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Identifying and treating major symptoms of problematic adjustment, such as behavioral disturbances, depression, and anxiety.
- Utilizing behavioral management strategies to address negative behaviors associated with dementia.
- Offering a broad spectrum of therapies, including individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and consultation and supportive services to families.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of NJ.
- Driver’s License and registered vehicle.
- Willingness to travel.
