A loving family in Bulverde is seeking a nurturing, flexible Nanny/Household Support for their 2-year-old, starting as soon as possible.
Compensation: $40/hour | 401k, Health & Dental, PTO, Major Holidays Off | Bulverde, TX 78163 | Full-time, long-term
Schedule (Monday–Friday):
- Mon, Tue, Fri: 7:30–10:30am & 3:30–9:00pm
- Wed, Thu: 7:30–11:00am & 3:30–9:00pm
What you'll be doing:
- School drop-offs/pick-ups and transport to activities (ballet, Little Gym) and appointments
- Prepare breakfast daily; reheat lunch/dinner when the family chef is unavailable
- Coordinate the child's weekly schedule with the family
- Feed, walk, and help care for the family's Pomeranian
- Light housekeeping — tidying common areas, post-meal cleanup, general organization
- Support with errands and general household tasks as needed (family vehicle provided)
- Occasional travel with the family; coverage during holidays/sick days as needed (valid passport required)
What we're looking for:
- A structured, gentle approach — guidance through redirection and positive reinforcement, no physical discipline or harsh language
- Experience and cultural knowledge in African American hair care and health, to support the child with understanding and awareness
- Comfort incorporating age-appropriate Christian teachings and values into daily routines (non-denominational Christian household)
- Comfort around dogs (family has a Pomeranian)
