GROUNDS MAINTENANCE/LANDSCAPING/HANDYMAN POSITION
This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor and indoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, construction, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundskeeping, landscaping, and general handyman duties, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. Job starts immediately.
Duties
Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation.

Job duties includes but not limited to the following:
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, weed whacking
- Landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and shrubbery trimming.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes
- Remove weeds and dead plants
- Trim hedges, leaves, and overgrown limbs
- Dig, spread, and level soil
- Clear debris and waste from landscaping areas
- Maintain safety standards
- Move, secure, install, build, load, or unload materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, use light equipment, depending on the jobsite
- Preventative maintenance: Inspect, lubricate, and clean tools and equipment daily
- General maintenance tasks including repairs, painting, carpentry work, and plumbing as needed.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized following safety protocols.
Performs various physical duties as assigned.
Must be reliable and able to work outside in high tempuratures.
Must be local to Ulster County Cities including, Accord, Kingston, Hurley, New Paltz, Saugerties, Woodstock, etc.
Houly rate is based on previous experience.

Schedule:
- Day shift 8am - 4pm
- Evening shift 4pm - 12am
- Including Weekends
Skills
- Operation of zero turn mower, weed whacker, stand up blower, tractor and various tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture
- Strong understanding of construction techniques related to hardscape installation and repairs.
- Skilled in tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues promptly.
- Physical stamina for performing manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients as needed. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the upkeep of beautiful landscapes while utilizing a broad skill set in grounds maintenance and handyman services. The role requires a proactive attitude with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail across all tasks performed.
- Payrate $20-$21 per hour.
