Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Office Professional/Payroll Specialist to join our CPA firm based in Hammond, LA. As. The responsibilities for this position will include:
Duties
- Payroll Processing: Manage & process payroll using our software applications. Ensure accuracy in data entry and calculations. Generate and distribute payroll reports.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax filings, including federal, state and local taxes.
- Answering phone calls, monitoring and responding to emails on a priority basis.
- Assisting office staff with various accounting and tax related tasks.
- Ordering of office supplies.
***Duties for this position are not limited to the tasks listed above. The selected candidate will be subject to perform other tasks pertaining to the job as needed.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Requirements
- 2 years clerical experience
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong ethical values and exceptional customer service
