Program Director / Childcare
The YWCA of Contra Costa / Sacramento is seeking a Program Director for its five childcare / pre-school programs located in Oakley, Antioch, Bay Point (2 locations), Richmond plus one private before and after school program in Martinez. Our programs help children develop physically, socially and emotionally. Children learn how to get along with others and develop communication skills. Programs include general childcare (age 2); preschool (ages 3 to 5) and school age (kindergarten through first grade).
We also give meals and snacks to all children in our childcare programs. All of our childcare programs are government subsidized with the exception of the before and after school program in Martinez.
This is a full-time, exempt position with full benefits after the waiting period. You must be willing to visit the various different sites as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring State Department of Education and Department of Social Services requirements are met
- Monitor parent and staff meetings, ensure DRDPs are completed properly and on time as well as monthly lesson plans
- Oversee the Department of Agriculture's food program and make sure its requirements are met
- Assist with the enrollment of children for the overall program
Requirements:
- Must have current Program Director's permit as required by the State Department of Education
- Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
