Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
Join our West Valley team as a Maintenance Technician earning $25.00/hour! This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work with diverse mechanical and electrical systems while supporting critical production operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement quick solutions to minimize downtime
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules
- Support installation, setup, and testing of production equipment
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS systems
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
- Follow strict safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements
- Handle general facility maintenance including HVAC, lighting, and basic repairs
What You Bring
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work instructions
Preferred:
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience
- CMMS system knowledge
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
Schedule & Shift
Full-time position with potential for up to 10-hour shifts
Pay & Compensation
$25.00 per hour
Physical Requirements: This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and working in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when needed.
